Oxnard-native, Anderson .Paak, debuts his sophomore album, ‘Malibu‘. It’s been quite a successful past year for the artist, as he stayed busy releasing new music, and collaborating with well-respected artists such as Dr. Dre, The Game, 9th Wonder, & Knxwledge, to name a few. Malibu, is a 16-track album that really showcases Anderson’s eccentricity & musical diversity. The album focuses on melodic Funk raps, w/ a Soulful overall tone. Featured on this project are big names, such as, Schoolboy Q, Talib Kweli, The Game, and Rapsody. Along with his band, The Free Nationals, Anderson continues to stay true to his roots by putting out good, genuine music. Proving that you really don’t have to sell out to reach success. It’s just the second week of 2016, but this might be one of the best projects released this year.
