After a while of hinting at a clothing brand, all-around cool girl Pia Arrobio stunts on everyone with her very own LPA the Label. We’ve been big fans of the Designer/Creative Goddess Pia for a hot minute, so when we found out her label was in the works we were anxious to see the direction behind it! Although the option of creating a clothing brand wasn’t an easy one, Pia mentions how it was the right move. After she left her position as Style Director at Reformation, the Designer was unsure of her next move, contemplating a dream job for Zara in Spain or starting the brand of her dreams. As you figured, she fearlessly chose the road less taken and got busy, from tech packing to sample size runs to creative development, ya girl was not playing. In a recent press Interview with In-Style, Pia mentions ‘Career-wise, this was the move, and I had so many ideas in my head. This was really fun for me’.
LPA the Label is truly a testament of Pia’s style & fashion taste. Combining the elements of tomboy & girly girl aesthetics. The brand focuses on pieces that are comfortable, casual yet stylish. It’s pieces that could be worn from daytime to nighttime, on a weekday or a weekend. Pia mentions she is really into sophisticated vintage & elegant pieces but she’s also into comfortable day-to-day skater clothing, something that she wanted to make sure LPA encapsulated.

Another interesting part of Pia’s aesthetics is the level of attention & sincerity she brings with every piece. She abides by her statement, ’No photoshop’ which goes hand in hand with her overall idea of keeping it real & natural. Pia really emphasizes the importance of being comfortable in one’s own skin. Even her IG photos seem to be super natural, no overly saturated effects or anything, as opposed to traditional Social Media culture. Arrobio mentions that one of the best feelings of being her own boss is calling the shots & not listening to anyone tell her to Photoshop models or imperfections.
With big brand supporters such as Emily Ratajkowski, Kim Kardashian, and Emma Wasson, the brand is already getting the recognition it deserves. The branding, the design direction, amongst the overall aesthetics makes LPA ahead of its time. We can’t wait to see what else Pia has in store for the future, but we already know it’s going to be amazing. Lesson learned, go after your dreams, break the rules, be happy, and break the rules again.
