With the Second annual ComplexCon, many traveled from all over the world to witness exclusive drops from famous brands to incredible performances from Artists such as N.E.R.D, Gucci Mane, DJ Khaled, Young Thug, and many more. While the first year was amazing, many wondered how Complex would top this year, and they did not disappoint. N.E.R.D reunited to headline ComplexCon with an exclusive listening party of their brand new album, which featured artists such as Rihanna, Future, Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar and more. The album stays true to their Punk-Rap sound that they’ve always held so well, while also staying modern with issues that today we face.

ComplexCon was more than just performances, it gave an opportunity for creative minds to come together and showcase their Style and Art through clothing, branding, and photography. Many brands stood out and had their own personal vibe as to what they wanted to present to the crowd. BornxRaised, Bodega, Rare Panther, Pink Dolphin, and 40’s & Shorties were some of the many booths that showed out and had people crowding just to take a look.

ComplexCon ended their Festival with amazing performances by Young Thug, MIA, and Gucci Mane. These Artists came out and gave everyone the best performances anyone could have asked for. Young Thug played hits like “Pick up the Phone” to “Lifestyle” which had the crowd hyped. Soon After, MIA came out with her dancers and performed an electric act with all her hits including her famous song “Paper Planes”. The night ended with Gucci Mane opening his set with “Both ft. Drake”, as well as playing his most notable hits like “Lemonade”, “Pillz”, and “Freaky Gurl”. Although he did not perform “Icy”, we are going to let that slide since he did bring out Migos and performed “Slippery” and “I get the bag”.

Not only does ComplexCon offer an amazing concert, it also gives you the chance to talk  to other Creative minds, and listen to conversations from respected people. We can’t wait until next year, and see how they top it because it can only be up from here.
