New York’s, by-girls-for-girls brand MadeMe recently unveiled their Converse collab. The collection crafts an early 90’s-inspired capsule, with a hint of Downtown NYC spirit & the energy of the Riot Grrrl movement. Since its debut in 2007 by designer Erin Magee, the brand has reimagined wardrobe staples for today’s evolved, alternative female youth. It was no surprise why they chose Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, as the cover girl for the campaign, in which she shows out her personality & unapologetic self.
The line is eccentric & features the Converse One-Star Silhouette constructed from corduroy w/ a ribbed upper in hues of yellow, navy blue, olive green and black, the sneakers are perfect to keep in rotation for any given occasion. In addition to the shoes, the capsule also features Summer essentials such as halter tops, track suits, & mini backpacks.
